W32/Hiphop.G Trojan

 Information about the W32/Hiphop.G Trojan:

W32/Hiphop.G is a trojan. The trojan will infect Windows systems.

The trojan will arrive as a dropped file of another malware or may be downloaded from the Internet.

Upon execution, it copies itself as mywinsys.ini in the Windows folder and winsys16_070307.dll, scrsys070307.scr, AlxRes070307.exe, scrsys16_070307.scr, winsys32_070307.dll in the Windows System folder.

It modifies the registry at the following location to ensure its automatic execution at every system startup:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

This trojan first appeared on April 05, 2007.
