Trinoo trojan virus.

 Information about the Trinoo trojan:

Trinoo is a Win32 based Trojan program. This trojan can affect Windows 95 and Windows 98 system. This is a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack program. Trinoo trojan needs to be executed by the user for it to be installed. It copies a file called SERVICE.EXE to Windows\System directory. Once executed by the user it will install itself in such a way that it will be active all the time. Trinoo adds an entry to the Windows Registry to achieve this. It adds a Registry Key at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\Run=service.exe

Trinoo is a remote administration trojan program similar to Netbus or Backorifice. While you are connected to the internet, if this program is running on your computer anyone from anywhere who has got the Trinoo Client program can sneak in to your computer without your permission or knowledge. This will cause a serious security risk to the affected user.

Trinoo first appeared in February 2000 and it is reported to be in the wild.
