My party... It was absolutely amazing! I have attached my web page with new photos! If you can please make color prints of my photos. Thanks!

Infected email carries an attachment www.myparty.yahoo.com. Upon execution of the attachment, it copies itself as regctrl.exe under C:\Recycled folder. The worm uses an in-built SMTP routine to propagate itself.

The worm collects the SMTP server information of the infected user's computer by checking the following registry key.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Account Manager\Accounts\00000001

It also drops a Backdoor trojan called Backdoor/Myparty. It drops a file MSSTAKE.EXE into the Windows startup directory.

This worm first appeared on 27th January 2002.
