JS/Yamaner.A Worm

 Information about the JS/Yamaner.A Worm:

JS/Yamaner.A is a worm. The worm will infect Windows systems and spreads through email.

This worm arrives as an email containing HTML tags with javascript.

The infected email carries a spoofed 'From' address picked up randomly from the infected system.

The subject of the infected mail will be New Graphic Site.

The body of the infected mail will be Note: forwarded message attached.

Once the email is opened it takes advantage of the vulnerability in Yahoo mail's onload event handling and executes the javascript.

Once executed it sends a copy of itself to the yahoo contacts of the infected user.

It tries to send the gathered email address to the following link

http://www.av3.net

This worm first appeared on June 13, 2006.
